His Story
The greatest story ever told isn't a fairy tale. It's the true story of God's love for you, and it changes everything.
1. God is Holy and Loving
God created everything, including you, and He created you for a purpose: to know Him and enjoy Him forever. He is completely holy, perfect, and just. He is also incredibly loving and desires a relationship with us.
"For God so loved the world..." - John 3:16
2. We Are Separated
Although God created us for relationship with Him, we have all chosen to go our own way. This rebellion is what the Bible calls sin. Because God is holy, our sin separates us from Him, and there is nothing we can do on our own to bridge that gap.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23
3. Jesus is the Solution
Because of His great love for us, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn't live and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Three days later, He rose from the grave, defeating death and offering us new life.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
4. Our Response
Knowing this story isn't enough; we must respond. God invites you to turn away from your sin and place your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. It's a free gift, received by faith.
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9
