About Us
Our Story
In November of 2002, NorthWoods Church began as a church plant from Grace Baptist Church Evansville, Indiana.
Services were held in the McCutchanville Volunteer Fire Department gymnasium. We began with a desire to have an impact on the Northeast side of Evansville and that has not changed. Yet, the church has become a regional church drawing people all over the Southwest Indiana area.
NorthWoods has been at its current location since 2007. NorthWoods has had church planting in its DNA since its beginning as it has been a part of planting churches in Vincennes, Bloomington, Newburgh, and two churches in Evansville.

NorthWoods is in a growing, strategic area of Vanderburgh County and has a great opportunity to have a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.
We see a day that at NorthWoods Church on 9920 North Green River Road, we are full in our worship services; while at the same time planting other solid, Biblical teaching churches across Southwest Indiana.

This is a great opportunity to connect with our staff and get any questions you have about our church answered!
