Serve our local community right here in Evansville through partnerships with Center of Hope Church and Community Central — two churches we planted.

International Mission Board Partnership Trip

Travel with our IMB partners to plant the gospel in an unreached people group. Specific destination announced to registered participants.

Zack & Courtney Newsome

Panama City, Panama

Global Catalysts for the Americas with the IMB. Their focus is to raise up, train, and send out the next wave of Latin American missionaries. They are the first international missionaries sent out by NorthWoods.

Amy & Mark Murry

Evansville, IN

Amy serves as an Area Representative with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, primarily in collegiate ministry at the University of Evansville. NorthWoods is their church home.

Indianapolis, IN

Planted Mercy Hill Chapel, an urban church plant reaching a diverse community. They have two children (Hudson, Paisley) and a foster son, Sam.

Brownsburg, IN

Lead Pastor at Reliant Church on the west side of Indianapolis. Chris received his MA in Church Planting from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have five children.

Franklin, IN

In ministry for 25 years. Planted Community Baptist Church in Franklin in 2018, and this year merged with an aging church to form Crossway Bible Church — a replanted congregation.

After youth ministry in Chicagoland, Randall joined Redemption City Church in South Bend. Now stepping out in faith to plant Mission City Church on the southeast side of South Bend. Parents of six children.

Moved from Chicagoland to South Bend in 2019 with a shared vision to start a church. Passionate about discipleship and seeing followers of Christ grow. Parents of four children.

Planting Graceland Church – Dearborn, a campus of Graceland Church from New Albany. By end of 2025 they'll become Harvest City Church, a fully autonomous congregation.

Church planters with The Salt Network. After college ministry in Ames, IA and planting in Minneapolis in 2017, they planted in Lafayette, IN in 2023.

Harrison & Janae Beckman

Speedway, IN

After ten years as a worship leader and associate pastor, Harrison was called into church planting. They moved to Speedway and launched Providence Church in August 2025.

Nathan & Jessie Brock

Kaysville, UT

Planted Redemption North Davis in April 2023. The church has grown from 25 to ~115 on a Sunday, ministering primarily to current and former Mormons and Air Force members. Launched an RND Bible Academy.

Pittsburgh, PA

Originally from Owensboro, KY. Launched Reclamation Church New Kensington on October 20, 2024, planted through NAMB — the only SBC church serving an area of about 25,000 people. Parents of four kids.

Passage West, Ireland

Stepped into a new part-time role with Munster Christian Camps while continuing to serve with Passage Baptist Church's youth ministry. Their son Josiah is 5 months old.

John & Jenny McLamb

Panama City, Panama

Served overseas for 18+ years. Now serve as IMB global catalysts, helping send Latin Americans to nations with little or no gospel access. They lead a training center in Panama for cross-cultural workers. Parents of four children.

Missionary couple working all over Ecuador as National Coordinators for Emmaus Global Missions, doing logistics to bring missionary teams to their country. Connecting American churches with Ecuadorian churches.

Paddy & Charlotte Hayes

Belfast, Northern Ireland

Paddy serves as a pastoral intern at Great Victoria Street Baptist Church. He and Charlotte are parents to their young son, Micah, seeking the Lord's direction for their next steps in ministry.

Serving in Indonesia with the IMB for over 20 years across China, Taiwan, and now Indonesia. Focus on the Globalization of Missions — Asian churches sending Asian missionaries. Jarod now oversees strategy for the Globalization of Missions worldwide. Parents of three kids.

Faithfully planting a gospel-centered church in the port city of Klaipėda, Lithuania. With support from NorthWoods, they are hosting a local conference to gather people to hear the gospel.

Tokyo, Japan

Serving in Tokyo, Japan as Southern Baptist missionaries since March 2022. Less than 1% of Japan's 122 million people are followers of Jesus. Their team's vision is a gospel saturation movement starting with the Japanese.

Indonesia

Serve with the IMB as Cluster Leaders for personnel across Indonesia. Based out of Columbus, OH, they encourage, equip, and empower over 70 missionary families reaching unreached people groups. Recent empty-nesters with three grown children and four grandchildren.

Dublin, Ireland

With the IMB for 18 years. After 16.5 years church planting in Birmingham, UK, they now partner with the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland to plant North City Baptist Church in Dublin. Parents of two children.

Create Margin in Your Schedule

If we're constantly moving from one thing to the next, we'll rarely have margin for the unexpected moments God allows. Leave room for the unexpected.

Discover Where People Gather

Find where people are already getting together — a running group, book club, or kids story time — and go there. Get involved. Build relationships.

Do What You Love with Others

God has gifted us with unique gifts and abilities. As we explore our hobbies alongside others, we'll find credibility and kinship with those who share our passions.

Ask Good Questions

Ask questions that express genuine interest in the lives of others. Carry a posture of servanthood in conversation. What open-ended questions could you memorize?

Listen

It's impossible to ask good questions if we're not actively listening. Resist the urge to think about what you'll say next. Simply listen.

Share Your Story

Many people will be intrigued by how the gospel has shaped your life. Know how to authentically, winsomely share how Jesus has shaped who you are.

Share the Gospel

People should get to know us in such a way that they're not surprised when we bring up spiritual topics. The gospel is intrinsically powerful — unleash it.
